Unassailable: Tested, tried, and approved for the Kingdom

I find it very interesting that Yahweh chose this little vision as a starting point for this blog.  No intro, no soft start, bam- vision!  What a fascinating God we serve! A few weeks ago, I had this vision, a little courtroom scene that encouraged me greatly.

The vision began with Satan standing in court to accuse as he often does, with Yahweh sitting in the seat of judgement.

  • Yahweh said, “have you considered *person*?”
  • Satan tried the old Job tactic- “*person* only loves You because You bless them.” (Job 1&2)
  • God shut Him down. “Nope, they’ve already been tested and tried. I am henceforth transferring their citizenship to My Kingdom; they fall under My jurisdiction and you may not accuse them.”
  • Satan- “WHAT!?!?!?”
  • God- “and he/she is not the only one. I am doing this for all My children who have passed their tests.”

I was surprised that Satan didn’t explode with rage on the spot like Rumplestiltskin; he was LIVID. I praise You, Yahweh, for your chesed, Your providential wisdom, and Your goodness in Loving and defending us!

The Defendant

Who was Yahweh defending? Beloved of God, if you are covered by the Blood of Jesus, if you’ve been faithful through tests, trials, persecution, wounding, humbling, correction, teaching, healing, restoration, and transformation– even when it hurt– then I’ve got good news. The person they were talking about was you.

All of those times when you felt tormented, wounded, stretched, bruised, and worn down to a nub have brought you to this. Yahweh has used all of it to make you unassailable.
